Cast Bios

Cult Classics

Henri Brusasco (Ensemble)

Henri is a sophomore directing major who has always had a fascination with cults. She grew up in Los Angeles just miles from the Manson family’s home in Topanga Canyon. She is so excited to bring her and her ensemble’s morbid interest to the stage.

Marco Chiriboga (Ensemble)

Marco Chiriboga is a sophomore in Pace University’s BA Acting program as part of the International Performance Ensemble. He began exploring Theater in 2014 and has since been featured in roles such as Corny Collins in HAIRSPRAY, Ernst in CABARET,  Titus in THE CURIOUS SAVAGE, Zoser in AIDA, Radio Singer in VIOLET, Frank in FRONT, Drake in ANNIE, and Adult Male in SPRING AWAKENING, and has been involved with the concert productions of THE SECRET GARDEN and CRAZY FOR YOU as a member of the chorus at Lincoln Center. He is very excited to be revisiting his first devising experience in a professional setting.

Ava Clark (Ensemble)

Ava is excited in general! In between this show, and not doing her laundry enough, she’s been enjoying her sophomore year, and is happy to be making her 3.9 miles south of 42nd street debut. She would like to thank Whole Foods Market Laguna Beach for providing much needed stamina, and her Mother for being so willing to ship Ava shampoo and conditioner since she loves to get the points on her Target account! Another big shoutout to Dad, Chloe, Chris, and 6 dollar jeans.

Hunter Francisco (Ensemble)

Hunter is a Texas born Actor and Director who is perusing his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Directing with the International Performance Ensemble. This is Hunter’s first time acting in a theater in New York and he is incredibly excited. Along with Cult Classics, Hunter is additionally directing his first full length show in New York, Fugueby Lee Thuna which will open in December. Hunter want’s to thank his incredibly supportive and caring family for allowing him to be the creative he is and for traveling all this way from California and Texas to see him. Finally, he wishes a good show to the rest of his ensemble as well as the ensemble showcasing Post Mortem.

Taelor Griffiths (Ensemble)

Riki Klaskin (Ensemble)

Riki is a BA Actor in the International Performance Ensemble where she is excited to continue her education and exploration of the art form. Though this is the only show she has worked on at Pace thus far, she has a long history of performance. She has been in an at least 2 staged productions a year since the age of 5. She has also spent 8 years enrolled in voice lessons and 3 years studying improv, as well as directing 3 improv murder mystery productions. Tonight she is excited to be re-staging Cult Classics alongside her peers and fellow performers! She wishes the best to her cast as well as the cast of Postmortem. She hopes everyone enjoys the show that the entire ensemble has worked so hard to devise and perfect. She is excited to see where her next steps into the world of performance take her. Colby Ourand (Ensemble)

Colby Ourand is a sophomore actor in the BA International Performance Ensemble. He is so pleased with the opportunity to present Cult Classics for a second time following the workshop last spring. Past productions include The Knight of the Burning Pestle with Stand Up Productions and Rent, you know the one. He would like to thank his special girl back home, Jo. We’ll be coming crazy for you tonight.

Luke Pearlberg (Ensemble)

Luke Pearlberg is a New Jersey resident studying Acting as a member of the International Performance Ensemble at Pace University, and a graduate from Red Bank Regional High School Visual and Performing Arts Academy with a Major in Drama under Joe Russo and Reuben Jackson. His most recent theatrical credit was the role of Crutchie in Disney’s Newsies in the Algonquin Arts Theater’s 2019 production. He is very grateful for the time that every member of this ensemble has spent creating Cult Classics since last February under the guidance of Suzi Takahashi, and cannot wait to showcase its final product alongside so many wonderful theatre makers and friends.

Jonathan Siverson (Ensemble)

Jonathan is really excited for you, the specific person reading this right now and no one else, to see Cult Classics! Jonathan is a director and, sometimes, an actor. “Sometimes” meaning at this particular moment. Past credits include “How to Make Friends and then Kill Them” with Lookout! Productions (Director), “Adults” with Lookout! Productions (Director), and “I Do Believe in Fairies” at Dixon Place’s 2019 Hot Fest (Assistant Director). He would like to thank his parents, Grace, and Matthew (specifically for that time he bought Jonathan three Red Bull’s at 1am without question.) He hopes you enjoy the show!

Cam Slaughter (Ensemble)

Cam Slaughter is a sophomore BA Acting student of the International Performance Ensemble. This isn't his first crack at an original show with an original character. Back in Colorado, Cam helped develop characters with the production company Modest Arts in Sons & Daughters and The Trojan War. His most monumental achievements have been directing Hamlet and playing Vladimir in Waiting for Godot at Eaglecrest High School. He's excited to be performing on what will be the first of many New York City stages.

Rose Stark (Ensemble)

Rose is a sophomore BA Actor and is excited to be a part of Cult Classics! She has been in a variety of shows including Starmites, Nicholas Nickleby, All of the Timing, and WASP, where she received the award for best actress at the South Carolina High School Theater Festival. She has also written and directed short plays. She wants to thank her supportive family, as well as her horrible and amazing roommate.

Elizabeth M. Stater (Ensemble)

Elizabeth M. Stater is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and is in her second year at Pace University in the BA Acting-International Performance Ensemble program. She most recently performed in Crowds Out Front with Doghosue Ensemble Theatre at Manhattan Theatre Club and I Do Believe In Fairies at Dixon Place. In the fall of 2018, Elizabeth assistant directedMeasure for Measure by William Shakespeare with The Untitled Shakespeare Project. Previously, she worked with Doghouse Ensemble Theatre on Mass Cycle: A Meditation on Cancer.  In her first year of college, in which she attended Muhlenberg College, she was a part of an original adaptation of Shakespeare’s King Henry VI Tetralogy, Glory (Horner), by Holly Cate. While attending Interlochen Arts Academy, Elizabeth was a part of many mainstage productions including, A Flea in Her Ear (Lucienne Homenides de Histangua), The Eccentricities of a Nightingale (Grace Winemiller), The Caucasian Chalk Circle (Georgi Abashwili, Aniko, and Ironshirt), Amadeus (Venticelli #2), and The Secret in the Wings (Ensemble). Along with Interlochen’s mainstage productions, Elizabeth has been a part of the annual One-Act Festival, directing "Lockdown" by Douglas Craven, playing Cel in "The Most Massive Woman Wins," and Kira in "Saguaro". As a young actress, Elizabeth competed in the Pittsburgh Public Theater’s Annual Shakespeare Monologue and Scene Competition, in which she was a finalist, performing a scene from The Merry Wives of Windsor. The following year she also received an honorable mention for her performance of a monologue from The Merchant of Venice.

Kate Terrill (Ensemble)

Kate Terrill thanks you for attending this production. You may have seen her in a few other productions. Or maybe you’ve seen some work that she has directed, because, she forgot to mention, she’s a Sophomore BA Director. She thanks her family and dog, her great good friends, her professors, Suzi, and her ensemble for really leaving it all on the dance floor. Kate Terrill is a big fan of this show. She thinks you will really like it. Also, she advocates for the other show! She can’t wait for you to see that one, too.

Alexandra VanZwieten (Ensemble)

Alexandra VanZwieten is so honored and thrilled to be studying devised theatre in the International Performance Ensemble as a directing major! She’s so proud of Cult Classics and the process to make it, as well as Post Mortem. Her recent credits include Hairspray (Amber VanTussle), she co-devised and directed an original piece called “The Chain”, and she will be opening Ken Ludwig’s “Moon Over Buffalo” this November which she directed under Stand Up! Productions. She would like to thank her parents. @alvanzwieten

Santiago Villar (Ensemble)

Santiago Villar is a Mexican actor who is currently pursuing and achieving his dreams within the International Performance Ensemble of 2022 . After having lived in China for eight years, Santiago is delighted to be back again in the USA creating theatre with his ensemble, and is happy to be part of Cult Classics!

Conor Breen (Ensemble)

Conor Breen is proud to be a part of such an incredible ensemble, and excited to show the world what they’ve been up to. Conor would like to thank his Mom and Pops for their bottomless pit of support and love.

Dorey Casey (Ensemble)

Dorey is a sophomore BA acting major originally from Norcross, Georgia. She is thrilled to be apart of Postmortem! Favorite past credits include Anatomy of Gray (June Muldoon), Antigone (Ismene), and Oklahoma! (Ado Annie). Much love and many thanks to Mom, Dad, & Sam for their never ending love and support and Gabrielle, Cosmin, & Adrienne for this incredible opportunity! Doug Gallo (Ensemble)

Doug Gallo (Dennis) is a NY-based director-actor-human who is honored and excited to be appearing in Postmortem in rep with Cult Classics.  Recent credits include: “Showtune Blowout”, a workshop at Pace University, Directed/Choreographed by Tony-nominated Sam Pinkleton (Associate Director/Dramaturg), “The Chain”, an original devised piece (Co-Director / Curator), “2000 Miles: A New Musical in Concert” at Feinstein’s/54 Below (Assistant Director), and “Be More Chill” with Zneefrock Productions (Michael Mell). After an unbelievable seven month process of building Postmortem, he is proud of it’s product but even more proud of the process it took to build this zany, layered world. Thanks to Gabrielle, Brianna, the Stage Management Team, Adrienne and Cosmin, Family and Friends, and YOU - the audience for coming and supporting us! Break legs to both ensembles!

Lucy Garcia (Ensemble)

Lucy is so excited to be a part of her first show here at Pace, she would like to thank the lovely cast and crew of Post Mortem for being so great. Special thanks to Annie Christ and Rusty Jones for being great.

Sebastian Hagelstein (Ensemble)

Sebastian Hagelstein is very proud to be involved in presenting the second iteration of Postmortem. He is an acting major in the International Performance Ensemble. He thanks his parents for their support.

Mallory Heard (Ensemble)

Mallory is a sophomore actor in the BA International Performance Ensemble program. She is originally from Dallas, Texas and has been pursuing theatre since she was 7 years old. She is so thrilled to be playing the role of Pam in Postmortem and to share what her ensemble has been devising since January. She would like to thank her director, professors, friends, church, family, and the Lord for uplifting her throughout this process. Psalm 46.

 

David Herndon (Ensemble)

David is a sophomore directing major. He is a member of the APEX theatre company and has recently been apart of such productions as We Are Proud to Present, A Chorus Line, and As You Like It. He is excited to present the progress of the show from last year’s workshop to now. He would like thank his friends and family for their support and love.

Nick Leras (Ensemble)

Nicholas Leras is a sophomore in Pace University B.A. acting program. He’d like to thank his friends and family for supporting him throughout his work. Krystyna Pinel (Raina Abbot) is a Sophomore at Pace University. She is excited to be apart of Postmortem. Krystyna would first like to thank the ensemble that created this show with her and she is grateful that she had the opportunity to work with these amazing people. She would also like her Director Gabrielle and Assistant Director Brianna for all the work they put in to create this show. Krystyna’s past credits include The Drowsy Chaperone (Janet Van De Graaf),

Camila Rivera (Ensemble)

Camila Rivera is a sophomore BA Actor from Puerto Rico. She is extremely grateful to have worked with such an amazing ensemble and the incredible creative team who made "Postmortem" possible. Special thanks to God and her family for their unconditional love and support. ¡Nos vemos en la cima!

Akash Seeram (Ensemble)

Akash is extremely ecstatic to be a part of the devising process for the show, Postmortem. He is also very greatful to be surrounded by such talented and supportive peers. He would like to thank the PPA program, Gabrielle, DANK, his friends, mom, dad, and brother for their undying love and support. Enjoy the show!

 

Sophia Varnai (Ensemble)

Sophia Varnai is a sophomore BA directing major at Pace, originally from Maryland just outside Washington DC! Recent credits include: How to Make Friends and Then Kill Them (assistant director), Macbeth (stage manager), Lumina Studio Theatre Summerstock (co-director), and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (assistant director). She would like to thank her friends, family, teachers, and of course, the incredible group of people she made this show with. She hopes you enjoy!
 

Maggie Wehr (Ensemble)

Margaret Wehr is a Sophomore BA Acting Major from Minnesota. She would like to thank her fellow ensemble members, Gabrielle, and the creative/technical crew. She’s very excited to perform in this show.

Mina Kopp (Assistant Stage Manager)

Mina Kopp is a sophomore Stage Management major here at Pace University. She is very excited to be working with the extremely talented team and cast for IPE! Recent credits include L.O.V.E.R. at Signature Center, Men on Boats, and I Do Believe in Fairies at Dixon Place, as well as several others. She sends love to her roommates, her parents, and Daisy for their support. Special thanks to Jimmy O'Connor, who answered the FaceTime call when she couldn't figure out how to use the sound board. Kara Kennedy is thrilled to be a PA on IPE this semester! She would like to thank the entire Stage Management team for making her feel so welcomed on her first show with Pace University. Bri Kolozsvary is thrilled to be making her first Company Management credit with this semester’s IPE showcases.
